CIti teen center - 2017

Our flagship Laurence F. Lee Boys & Girls Club, located at 313 East 10th Street, did all that and more. It served the community for nearly 50 years, closing after summer camp in 2015. Unfortunately, the recession and rising maintenance costs have taken a toll, necessitating a total renovation of our building and grounds.

We are thrilled to announce that plans have been laid for the Citi Teen Center, which will transform the Lee facility into the coolest (and safest) place for local teenagers, aged 13-18, to learn, grow and engage in healthy activities.

Water Me Green will work with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida to create a program utilizing an urban garden to provide a sustainable source of income for the non-profit. Simultaneously, the urban garden will provide employment opportunities for young adults, foster an enviornment of entreprenuership and develop core skills needed for success as future leaders.
