Celebrating Our Staff Members & Clubs for Commitment to Excellent Youth Services
At our 2nd Annual Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida (BGCNF) Employee Recognition Reception, we proudly recognized staff members for their outstanding work and their commitment to providing excellent youth-centered services through our 48 Clubs across Clay, Duval, St. Johns and Alachua counties.
Nominations for each of these prestigious awards were submitted by peers, supervisors, other departments, and Club families.
The following winners in each category were announced and celebrated at the Employee Recognition Reception. Congratulations to each staff member and Club recognized for exceeding performance standards, exhibiting youth-centered service excellence, and demonstrating BGCNF Core Values!
Awards Winners
2022 World Class Award: Lashun Parker, Director of Data & Compliance
This is the organization’s highest honor. The award recognizes the staff member whose service, talents and behaviors significantly contributed to a World Class experience for our Club members and staff. This staff member is a mentor who inspires others and demonstrates the highest standards of professional conduct. They are a role model to others and always seem to have a positive outlook in challenging situations.
2022 Club of the Year: Edward H. White High School Boys & Girls Club
Recognizes one outstanding Club that over the past year has exceeded performance standards, exhibited youth-centered service excellence, and demonstrated BGCNF Core Values. This Club meets safety, programming, and attendance standards; brings fun and innovative programs to their members; consistently meets deliverables; receives positive feedback from their community or school; and has committed staff who represent BGCNF’s Core Values.
2022 Summer Camp of the Year: Crown Point Elementary School Boys & Girls Club
Recognizes one outstanding Club that had an amazing summer camp. This Club offered innovative and unique programing or made a significant contribution to the organization and/or community. They were creative and fun! Not only were safety, programming, and attendance standards met, but this Club exceeded performance standards, while exhibiting youth-centered service excellence and demonstrating BGCNF Core Values.
