GENERATOR PURCHASE AND INSTALLATION

Sealed bids will be received by Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Florida (BGCNF) for the New Generator Purchase and Installation Project at the Northwest Boys & Girls Club, located at 2661 NW 51st Street, Gainesville, FL 32606.

This project involves the procurement and full installation of a new 150KW diesel generator, automatic transfer switch, support pad, permitting, and electrical engineering services. Work includes startup, training, and warranty. A full scope of work and bid requirements is available upon request.

  • Mandatory Pre-Bid Walkthrough: Thursday, May 20, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the project location.

  • Bid Due Date & Opening: Friday, May 30, 2025 by 12:00 PM.

  • Anticipated Award Notification: On or before Monday, June 2, 2025.

  • Installation Completion Deadline: Friday, June 20, 2025 by 5:00 PM.

To be considered, all bidders must attend the mandatory walkthrough, submit one original and one copy of their bid in a sealed, labeled envelope, and meet the qualifications outlined in the Invitation to Bid packet.

    • BGCNF will accept a bid for a Fuel Tank that is at or below 549 gallons (about 48 hours)

    • Per our attached September Utility Billing Statement attached (“Document-0 (41)”), please move forward with dropping the 150kW to something smaller.

    • BGCNF will accept a mobile generator for this quote.

    • Please do what you can to secure a Transfer switch from a vendor who could meet the June 29 timeline.

    • The Grant will not cover the Generator covering and fencing. Therefore, to all potential vendors, when completing your bid, please list those items in your bid but separately.
